Starting a Small Business-Business Plan Development

The purpose of this program is to educate participants on the process and requirements of establishing a small business, including step by step guidance on creating a clear, concise business plan. Basic planning concepts including self assessment, marketing research, positioning, and legal requirements are covered. In addition, sample business plans, chapters addressing issues of concern for service, manufacturing retail and internet companies as well as a supply of extra worksheets (in printed form and in working electronic format on CD ROM) are included.

The Business Plan Development program is intended primarily for workers without access to Alliance local resources. Approval of your area’s Associate Director may be required.
