APPROVED TRAINING INSTITUTION INFORMATION

Alliance PPT funds
courses and programs offered by schools that have passed rigorous third party
examination and peer review. For your application to be considered for
funding, the institution must appear on either our list of
approved schools or be included in the CHEA (Council for Higher Education
Accreditation) database.
In general, you can assume that state colleges, community colleges and public
vocational schools meet Alliance PPT guidelines -- these institutions also tend
to give you the best value for your education dollar.
*Often non-academic schools, on-line programs and computer training centers do not meet Alliance PPT guidelines. If you are applying to a non-academic school, obtain proof of the school’s accreditation or credentials. Be aware that some schools claim accreditation, but they have not been sanctioned by a widely recognized accrediting body.
Please check if the training institution you wish to attend is on either The Alliance Approved Institution list or the CHEA Database.
